Food Sensitivities Testing

Tara uses EDS testing to determine which foods are inflammatory to your system. EDS measures the resistance of the skin in multiple acupuncture points; Tara then measures the response within these acupuncture points when exposed to over 130 foods one at a time, to determine changes in the meridian and organ system they are associated with.

If the resistance within a point increases when the frequency of a particular food is introduced, this indicates the inflammatory response to that food.

The system is not testing specific antibody response, such as IgE mediated allergies, but rather is measuring whether a food causes inflammation in the body.
